Quote - The Secret of Success

This much I know is true...

- You can never take back words spoken in anger
- No one will look out for you more than yourself
- Love shouldn’t hurt, if it does it’s not truly love
- Instead of worrying about the glitter in another's eye, you should deal with the glitter in your own
- You can never keep up with The Jones’
- Eating to numb the pain only works temporarily (and leaves you with a tummy ache)
- Two wrongs will never equal a right
- Your inability to forgive hurts you more than the other person
- You are your own worst enemy
- Family doesn’t have to be by blood
- It is what it is, worrying will not change the circumstances
- People do not change, they evolve (i.e. – you can’t make a person change but over time a person can evolve and grow into a better version of themselves)
- Revenge only feels good for a moment until the guilt kicks in, karma is always a better option
- Times of solitude is vital for mental health
- Needing your partner sets you up for failure, wanting to be with them is a healthier relationship
- It’s never too late
- You’re never too old
- Never be afraid to do things on your own – put on your brave girl panties
- Pay it forward
- You have no idea what others may be dealing with in their private lives
- A kind word can make all the difference to a person in despair
- To judge is to be judged
- The first step is always the hardest
- You find out how much gossip hurts when you’re on the other end
- The bravest thing you can do is to know your own self-worth
- It’s okay to take the road less traveled
- It will get better My Favorite Things

Weekend Recap
Don't you just love getting packages in the mail? <3 Today I came home to 3 packages on my porch.
I received the premiere issue of Mingle from Stampington & Company. I can't wait to dive in!
I also received a Tranquility Du Jour goody bag from Kimberly and a Suzi Blu I love your witchy ways kit.
Happy! :-D
This past weekend I worked on my homework from Soul Restoration II. If you taken this class before, I worked in my Life Book. I made these sweet little hot glue flowers and colored them in with pigments (Perfect Pearls).
I'm still working on the wreath. It's taking a lot longer than I initially thought. The coffee-dyed paper plates are now turning into paper flowers.
They're not even close to being done but that's because I was in the mood for some fall cleaning.
I cleaned up my computer desk and set up a shipping area for my Etsy shop. Previously this was being done on my dining room table. :-) I also cleaned up my art desk. Holy cow, I should have taken a before picture but I would have been too embarrassed to show it anyway. LOL. Here's the after pic before I {finally} placed a layer of craft paper on top:
I can't believe how many layers of mod podge, paint, and ink I had to scrap off the desktop. Hopefully I've fixed that problem now. :-)
How was your weekend?
XOXO,

Wishcasting Wednesday: How do you wish to be loved?
Thank you for joining me for this week's Wishcasting Wednesday. If you'd like to join this magical circle of dreamers and doers, please visit Jamie Ridler Studios.
Today's prompt:
I wish to be loved wholeheartedly. I wish to be treated with respect, honesty, and kindness. I wish to be loved unconditionally and to be cherished. I wish to be handled tenderly and gently - my heart that is. I wish to be the most beautiful person he has ever met. The girl of his dreams. His Cinderella and he my Prince Charming. I wish for sparks to fly and to feel breathless when we're together. I wish for a happily ever after.
Maybe I've just read too many fairy tales. :-) A girl can dream, can't she?

The "tortilla" making for the wreath continues (Weekend Recap). I should have it done by the end of the week and will share the finished product with you. Last night I continued the coffee-dyeing and prepping for crockpot lentil chili that's now cooking while sashaying in my new Curly Girl apron. I purchased it from Leigh's booth at The Creative Connection last month.
Isn't it cute? It say's, "A great many things can be resolved with kindness, even more with laughter, but there are some things that just require cake." Love it!
Have a wonderful day!
