What do you wish to know?

This is an easy one for me because I was just thinking yesterday how I wish to know courage.

In the ebook, From Passion to Profit, Rebecca Leigh quoted from Brene Brown’s book, The Gifts of Imperfection with this touching definition of courage:

The root of the word courage is cor – The Latin word for heart…Courage originally meant, “To speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.”

Don’t you just love that?

I wish for courage.  I desire to share a piece of my heart with each of you. I aim to open my heart, my soul, to you and speak the secrets, truths, and aspirations that my mind whispers to me in the sweetest of my dreams.  To demonstrate the bravery of being my authentic self and the courage to know that it’s okay.

It does take courage to share our authentic self with others but it is so worthwhile. As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well.

Some of my favorite quotes are on courage...

"Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." ~ Christopher Robin to Pooh

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ~ Lao Tzu

I just answered a "favorite word" survey and surprisingly it wasn't dog or even puppy (both of which always bring smiles to my face. It was instead Serendipity.

To me the word represents faith and hope, that no matter how many times I feel lost and alone, something serendipitous (and usually stupendous!) usually happens to restore my belief in love and humanity.

So I wish you serendipity, and wish to know some of it myself!
