AEDM - Day 8

Welcome to Day 8 of Art Every Day Month!
Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7.

Before I get into today's project, I want to first thank each and every one of you for taking the time to stop by each day for AEDM. I also want to send a big thank you to my regular readers for coming back each day. There is a message of love and kindness here that I hope you take away with you. If I can reach just one person then I feel like I've been a part of something bigger than myself because I know that one person can go out an infection another person with that same love and kindness. You are all such beautiful and amazing creatures and I want you to not only know that but feel it in your precious heart. XOXO.

Today's project is an art journaling spread inspired by this tutorial from Donna Downey.

I taped the pages with masking tape in random patterns before spreading the Inka Gold on the pages.

I used pan pastels in a heart stencil and applied a white wash to tone down the sheen from the Inka Gold. I used black India ink to outline the hearts and add a quote using the ink dropper.

Have a wonderful day!

I may not comment every day, but you are in my Google Reader, and I do ready your AEDM (and other) posts everyday. They make me smile! Thank you :)
